Guidelines for Authors

INTRODUCTION

The International Journal of Research in Computing (IJRC) welcomes papers on broad aspects of computing that constitute advances in the overall field including, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, data science, information technology, and information systems.

These papers are    but not limited to, Information Systems, IT for Innovations, Human Computer interaction, Networking, Internet of Things, Natural Language processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and decision support systems and e-learning.

Papers describing applications of computing discipline are also welcome, but the focus should be on how new and novel computing methods advance performance in application areas, rather than a presentation of yet another application of conventional computing applications. Papers on applications should describe a principled solution, emphasize its novelty, and present an in-depth evaluation of the modern computing techniques being exploited.

TYPES OF PAPER [Full Papers and Review Papers]

The IJRC invites full and review papers on wide parts of processing that establish propels in the general field including, software engineering, Computer designing, programming, information science, data innovation, and data frameworks. This journal is welcomes basic and applied papers describing mature, complete, and novel research that articulate methods for, and provide insight into Computing and Application. The paper is selected by editorial comment relates to its maturity, completeness, and novelty. Papers are strictly followed Author guidelines before preparation on the manuscript. Anyhow it is ultimately decided by reviewers and editors on a case-by case basis. Generally, a paper will be accepted should include a substantial discussion, articulate the relevance of the research to computing field, clarify what is original contribution to the computing field, anticipate the scientific impact of the work, include all appropriate methodologies followed, ethical consideration and experimental data, and provide a thorough discussion of connections with the existing literature.

Instruction for Authors:

There is no restriction on the length of submitted manuscripts. However, authors should note that publication of lengthy papers, typically greater than ten to twenty pages, is often significantly delayed, as the length of the paper acts as a disincentive to the reviewer to undertake the review process. Unedited theses are acceptable only in exceptional circumstances.

Page Extent:

We expect from the research papers to be between 5000-10,000 words on average. Peer reviewed articles are 5,000 words and over on average. However, we do encourage authors to present their work as concisely as possible for their argument.

Supporting Content:

The paper template includes the guidelines for formatting the content of the paper.

The paper should use a page size corresponding to A4, which is 210 x 297mm (8.27" x 11.69”).  The margins should be set as follows:

  1. Top = 20 mm (0.75")
  2. Bottom = 20 mm (0.75")
  3. Left = Right = 20 mm (0.75")

The paper should also be in a two-column format with a space of 4.00 mm (0.15") between columns starting from the Introduction section.

Style:

Papers should have an abstract and conclusions in addition to the introduction and technical sections.

  • References must be at the end of the paper.
  • Figures and Tables: Figures and Tables must be numbered sequentially.
  • Page Numbering: Please do not number the pages.
  • File Format: Authors should prepare their files in Microsoft Word and load as a MS Word file to the journal website.

References:

Use the latest edition of -The IEEE Style. The publication has an easy to use online Quick Guide with the format for the Notes style at: https://www.kdu.ac.lkijrcguide.html/. Please use Endnotes, using the Word Endnote function and Arabic numeral superscripts, rather than references in parentheses in the text.
